Oops is, yet again, a utility term


The New York Times has an article by Sam Roberts:
New Hydroelectric Plant to Be Built for New YorkOnce completed, the $72 million plant at the Cannonsville Reservoir could produce enough electricity to power six thousand homes.
Rico says that sounds like a good deal, until you do the math:
It's twelve thousand bucks per home, which would certainly pay for a roof-ful of photoelectric cells, which would generate power (for free) for a hundred years or more...
