Fuck tradition

The New York Times has an article by Gerry Mullany:

A Japanese official defended dolphin fishing as a tradition after Ambassador Caroline Kennedy took issue with the "drive hunt", in which dolphins are herded into an area from where they cannot escape.

Rico says that seppuku is traditional, too; they should try some, rather than eating dolphins. (Not that meat is the issue; we kill lots of cows and chickens and pigs, but they're stupid, like the Japanese...)
