New comment on Scam for the day.

I just received the exact same email and looked him up. That's when I found your blog post. This person sent this crazy email and tried to say it was from our science department at a large university in Southern California. Wonder if he's hacked into something, or what the purpose is for it to be in German. I spoke German as a child when I lived there, so I understand what the email says, but most people wouldn't.
Simply translated:
"You have won!
Dear winner,
Your name and email address has been lucky/entered and won 1.5 million euros in this afternoon's online lotto. To collect your winning check, send your name, address, telephone, and fax numbers to Mr. Marlon Timothy so that your certificate will be sent. Please contact Mr. Jeffrey Farnsworth (email shown). Thank you and congratulations,
Mrs. Paula Kreis"
It's just another lotto scam either way. Hopefully nobody falls for it & actually gives their info.
