In hopes of being there

Rico says that he's long wanted to visit Cuba with his father, who was stationed there while he was in the Naval Academy in the early 1950s, and now he has another reason to go: the sesquicentennial of the arrival of the CSS Stonewall (photo) in May of 1865.
Maybe the Castros will croak by then and there'll be a Cuban Spring, or some other opportunity will open up... (If anyone in the Civil War community knows of any plans to celebrate this event, please email Rico.)
