The joys of living in an old house

Rico says the photo, taken at 0300 following tonight's rainstorm, is of the hallway outside his back door, in the basement proper, of the late-1800s mansion he lives in. (And his bedroom, dry now courtesy of the efforts of his ladyfriend, only had six or eight gallons in it...)
