The New York Time has the story:
Steven P. Jobs, the co-founder and chief executive of Apple Inc., told his staff that he was taking a medical leave of absence, a year and a half after his return from a liver transplant.
"At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health," Jobs said in a statement to the Apple staff released by the company. "I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company."
Rico says ya gotta cut the guy some slack; eighteen months after a transplant, it's fucking amazing Jobs is walking around, much less running Apple...
