Rico says they dragged their things to the Antiques Roadshow in Atlantic City, waited through the surprisingly-fast-moving line, and finally got to see an appraiser with their stuff.
Doug's odd little objects (a brass mould for a little bear and another thingie) couldn't even be identified, and Rico's samurai sword was worth maybe two hundred bucks (or a little more than he paid for it). His treasured original photo of Abraham Lincoln was probably a later print (though before they broke the glass negative), and worth maybe $800 to $1200, if he was lucky...
