African-American? Duh

There was a debate on NPR this afternoon (and there's nothing Rico hates worse than call-in talk radio) about the manner in which the President-Elect refers to himself.
There were a lot of mixed-race callers, all miffed that he calls himself an African-American.
Hello?
His father is African. Not just black, he's from Africa.
His mother is American. White, obviously, but she's from America.
That makes Barack Obama, pretty obviously, an African-American.

Rico says that should (but won't) be the end of the story...
