The New York
Daily News has a story by Mike Jaccarino about a Brooklyn woman, Fatmira Krkuti, who waded into waist-deep water at Daytona Beach, got hit by a big wave, and never came up. Along with her, six people have died in Florida from storm-related causes: three in traffic accidents, two from drowning, and
one man from carbon monoxide poisoning while testing generators before the storm. Darwin was right... (And surely that last moron gets an honorable mention in the Darwin Awards this year.)
