The dark night of the Dark Knight

Rico and the ladyfriend went to see the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Given my dear friend who, even without makeup, looks amazingly like Heath Ledger, it was a must-see.
At 152 minutes, though, it was painful.
Why? Because whoever mixed the soundtrack either didn't listen to it afterwards, or listened to it through headphones.
Either way, the sound out of the speakers in the theatre made it impossible to hear the dialog. It was mixed very low in the soundtrack, and everyone in the film seemed to be muttering anyway. Now, Rico is older and deafer, but he's not that deaf, and neither he nor the ladyfriend could do more than lipread for half the movie. That made the $7.50 not really worth it; one can buy candy at the grocery store, and for less.
Will you like it? Risk the money and try it, or wait for the DVD and turn on the subtitles...

My review, as sent to the Heath Ledger look-alike:
Very pretty.
Heath Ledger is incredible; well deserves any posthumous awards.
Christian Bale was so-so, just like last time.
Michael Caine was good, as ever.
Eric Roberts, good but wasted in the role of the mobster.
Cars and toys as good as ever, too.
Loved Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Fox.
Maggie Gyllenhaal was good, but not cute enough for the role (in my LTHO).
