Twelve more days

Seems the Obama campaign has done their own math, and come up with 20 May as the end date of the campaign. Each of the remaining contests lines up neatly for one candidate or the other-- West Virginia, Kentucky and Puerto Rico for Clinton, and Oregon, South Dakota and Montana for Obama. The Obama campaign is likely to start pressing for commitments from superdelegates --if not right away, then after the May 20 primaries in Kentucky and Oregon. There, under any likely scenario, Obama will lock up a majority of the pledged delegates.

One commenter put it well: "Why can't Hillary just accept that it's over? She's ruining every shred of credibility and integrity that she ever had and she's making herself un-electable as a future Presidential candidate and on top of that she's probably going to have a tough time holding on to her Senate seat in 2012. I just don't understand it..."

Rico says he understands it all too well; Hillary will let go of the nomination when they pry it from her 'cold, dead fingers'...
