Overseas Democrats weigh in

Seems there's now a mechanism in the Democratic Party to get voters who reside overseas (some six million overall) involved in the primaries. Per the New York Times, Democrats Abroad has set up caucuses, and even the ability to vote on-line, and it's politics as usual. Early voting has been running about 66% for Obama, and will deliver some three delegates at the convention, with more to come from future meetings in Brussels and Vancouver.
There were some 330,000 absentee ballots in the 2006 election, with more expected this year.
