Obama clears the air, sort of

Barack Obama gave a somber speech in Philadelphia this morning on the issue of his church, his pastor, and racial remarks made therein.
While no one is going to give him a pass on the whole thing, it appears from the blogging that he made a credible attempt to make it go away. How successful he was, of course, remains to be seen.

Rico says he's giving Obama the benefit of the doubt here. Since Rico has no love for the religious, of any persuasion, all this hoohah is meaningless to him. In the face of real racism, however, this pastor's issues are minor. Move on, people. We've still got us a Hillary to get rid of...
