Bill doesn't like to share

The Wall Street Journal says in an on-line article that the 11-year tenure of the head of the Gates Foundation, Patty Stonesifer, will end next year, presumably to make room for Bill to run it himself, now that he's not working at that software company he started. The foundation is no lightweight, either. It now has 535 employees and $38.7 billion in assets, and is scheduled to get a big chunk of change from Warren Buffett, increasing the grant-making capabilities of the foundation to about $3 billion a year by 2009.

Rico says that's some serious whip-out, and he hopes Ms Stonesifer got some Microsoft stock in lieu of forgoing a salary all those years...
