John McCain, trying desperately to keep his moribund campaign going, has gotten the endorsement of (are you ready for this?) Senator Joe Lieberman.
Remember him? He ran with Al Gore in the 2000 election, then had to run as an independent when he lost the Democratic primary in Connecticut.
A failed Democratic candidate. Just the kinda guy I'd want supporting my forlorn Republican bid for the presidency...
