Check Hell for icing conditions

Oh, my gawd, I'm agreeing with Hillary Clinton:
“I believe we should start bringing our troops home,” she said during the debate at the University of Miami. “We need to quit refereeing their civil war and bring our troops home as soon as possible.”

It's worse than that, of course.
The place isn't even really a country, and the collection of antipathy they call citizens are never going to get along.
Give up, cut it up (see my post on the illogic of Iraq at Between Iraq and a hard place below), and bring the boys home.
The resulting bloodbath, while regrettable, will make for great Nightly News television... (They'll blame it all on George Bush, unfortunately, but Truman had to get us out of Korea and Johnson had to get us out of Vietnam, so he'll survive.)
If only those fucking ragheads hadn't tried to whack George Bush Senior on the orders of Saddam Hussein, none of this would have happened. Oh, yeah, and that 9.11 thing...
