Rico and his fiancée saw Lady in the Van, with Maggie Smith doing her best imitation of Rico's mother:

A man forms an unexpected bond with a transient woman living in her van parked in his driveway.

Rico says she's slightly wackier than his mother, though painting her vehicles that yellow is something Rico's mother would do...

As for the movie itself, it's more tragic than comic, though Smith does a wonderful job with a difficult role...
