The expected response

The Editorial Board of The New York Times has written, in the aftermath of the San Bernardino, California shootings, the editorial one might have expected, entitled:

End the Gun Epidemic in America
It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency.
Rico says that it's not a gub epidemic, of course, but a killing epidemic, mostly by highly dysfunctional people... (And everything from an 1892 Winchester lever action (as carried by Longmire and every cowboy action shooter) is 'designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency'...)
