Money he doesn't deserve

The New York Times has an article by Jesse McKinley and Benjamin Weiser about Sheldon Silver, who, though found guilty, will collect a state pension:
The former Assembly speaker, who was convicted on corruption charges, could earn nearly a hundred thousand dollars a year.
Rico says he was having a discussion the other day in the grocery store about people getting paid (like Rico does, fortunately) for not working...
