Eight tiny microchips

Even the Department of Agriculture is joining in the holiday spirit, issuing a report that it would permit Mr. S. Claus of the North Pole to enter and exit the country, accompanied by reindeer.
In a move displaying true governmental transparency, the USDA released a statement allowing the reindeer into the country without the standard process to screen incoming livestock. The reindeer must be microchipped or have eartags, the USDA said.
“During this season of giving, we agreed to waive the normal application fees and entry inspection and overtime costs,” said USDA Chief Veterinary Officer John Clifford. “The USDA wants to do everything in its power to help Santa.”
