Replica ship arrives in New York City

The BBC has an article (with the usual BBC unbloggable video) by Tim Allman about the Hermione:
The French frigate Hermione is a replica of a ship that sailed to the US in the eighteenth century and is now recreating that journey.
It set sail from the west coast of France in April and is arriving in New York City, its final stop. The original ship sailed to America in support of the Revolution, bringing the Marquis de Lafayette to the United States in 1780, where he revealed that France would help America in its revolutionary war against the British.
The reconstruction has taken two decades to complete and about twenty million pounds.
Rico says it's a pretty thing, but he's just as happy not to sail in one...
