Bad politics makes for bad bedfellows

The New York Times has an article by Danny Hakim about how the US Chamber of Commerce works globally to fight antismoking measures:

The American trade group and its foreign affiliates pit countries against one another and lobby on behalf of the tobacco industry around the world.

Rico says that he's not sure why the Chamber is doing this, but somebody's getting money from the tobacco industry...
