The New York Times has a Technology article by Emmarie Huetteman about some pathetic technology:

Chief Says IRS Struggles to Stay Ahead of Online AttackersThe head of the Internal Revenue Service said the agency was hamstrung in protecting taxpayer identities by software so antiquated that its makers are no longer updating it.

Rico says that someone's head should roll (but won't; this is the gummint, after all) for this sad state of affairs...
