Emily Babay has an article in The Philadelphia Inquirer about the Tall Ships Festival:
The Tall Ships Festival has set sail on the Delaware River, bringing ships and the world's largest rubber duck to the Philadelphia and Camden waterfronts. The event began Thursday and ended on Sunday. The festival showcases domestic and international vessels, including a replica of the French warship Hermione, which brought the Marquis de Lafayette and his forces to join the American Revolution in 1780. Attendees can view and tour the thirteen ships, which include the Gazela, Philadelphia's official tall ship.
The procession on the Delaware this year includes Mama Duck (photo), the largest-known rubber duck in the world. A tug is slated to pull the eleven-ton duck, which has drawn huge crowds in other cities, to Camden's riverfront.
