For the first time since World War Two, an arms exhibition has opened its doors in Japan. In 2014, the Japanese government lifted a self-imposed ban on the export of weapons, and now Japanese arms manufacturers are showing them off to international buyers at home for the first time. Japan has a large and advanced arms industry, but up to now it has only had one customer.
Rupert Wingfield-Hayes (photo) went down to Yokohama to take a look.
