Just when we thought it was over...

...John Bolaris is forecasting (ugh) snow at Philly.com:
The luck of the Irish prevailed on Tuesday, as the leprechauns were dancing to temperatures in the sixties. However, you can bet your lucky charms that Old Man Winter still has a few tricks up his chilly sleeve.
Temperatures overnight were to tumble, and then reach the very winter-like twenties by daybreak on Wednesday. To get through the hump, you will need to throw back on the winter coat as temperatures, despite plenty of sunshine, will flirt with forty degrees on Wednesday, about fifteen degrees below normal. The chill will remain on Thursday, with readings in the chilly forties. Spring officially arrives on Friday at 3:46 pm. But you're going to have to wait for true signs of the season.
Keep in mind that, during this time of the year, it's very tough to get accumulating snow when it falls during the day, due to the increasing sun angle. If this storm were to take place at night, then I would be talking about accumulating snow. But this will not be the case this time.
A storm will move quickly from just off the North Carolina coast on Friday, and accelerate northeast to land off the New Jersey coast by evening. With a modified polar air mass in place, it should be just cold enough for a mix of wet snow and rain, changing to all wet snow before ending by Friday evening. Any accumulations that do take place will be confined to grassy surfaces, as I'm not looking for sticking snow on our roadways.
This is a March nuisance storm that simply lets us know that winter is not through yet. Keep in mind that I still believe that we stand the chance of a late-season snowfall, as I see no real strong signals that winter is done anytime soon. So don't put away the snow shovels just yet.
The forecast:
Wednesday: Sunny, windy and cold. High of 41.
Thursday: Dry and chilly and 48.
Friday: A mix of wet snow and rain arrives between 9 am and noon. From noon to 7 pm, any mix could change to all wet snow. Light accumulations possible on grassy surfaces. High of 37. After 7 pm, clearing. Low of 33.
Saturday, mostly sunny and milder. High of 59.
Sunday, a cold blast: High of 41.
Rico says, enough already...
