Money for the day
Some motorists and passers-by treated themselves to an early Christmas in Hong Kong, China after a cash transport van with a faulty rear gate spilled millions of dollars in bundles banknotes across a busy motorway in Wan Chai at lunchtime.
Hong Kong police have asked the public to help return as much as HK$15 million, gone missing in the frantic scramble for the loose HK$500 notes, each one the equivalent of about sixty-five US dollars, following the incident. Video (photo above) circulating on social media shows the scene.
