A gay pirate From Cuba?

YahooNews has an article about Ted Nugent:
Ted Nugent (photo, above) revealed himself to be a “gay pirate from Cuba” during a tirade in which he compared CNN to Nazi Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels and identified network anchor Wolf Blitzer as a journalist.
“So much media has lost its soul lying Saul Alinsky Joseph Goebbells freaks,” Nugent tweeted. “CNN Joseph Goebbells Saul Alinsky propaganda ministry mongrels (sic).”
Following his accusations against CNN, where he is appearing on Erin Burnett OutFront, Nugent came clean about his sexuality, criminal occupation, and country of origin.
Blitzer, the host of CNN’s The Situation Room, began his career in journalism in 1972 with the Reuters News Agency in Tel Aviv before joining CNN in 1990 and spearheading the news network’s Peabody Award-winning coverage of the presidential primary debates and campaigns in 2008. In March of 2014, Blitzer will be awarded the Sol Taishoff Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism by the National Press Foundation.
Nugent, a rock star who rose to fame in the 1970s and has appeared on several reality shows since then, has yet to be recognized with any awards for plundering ships at sea.
He has since deleted the tweet acknowledging his homosexuality for the first time.
The admission, and CNN criticism, comes after Blitzer questioned Nugent for calling President Barack Obama a “subhuman mongrel”, an insult Blitzer identified as Nazi rhetoric once used to justify the genocide of the Jewish people.
For the record: yes, we get it; he’s being sarcastic, but epic ridiculousness deserves to be recognized.
Rico says you never know when Nugent is kidding, but this did seem a bit far-fetched, even for him...

But, then, of course, there's his wife, in an article by Tim Kenneally in The Wrap:
So, Ted Nugent’s wife walks into an airport …
Shemane Ann Nugent (photo, above), wife of Wango Tango wailer Ted Nugent, was arrested at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport recently, after a loaded pistol was found in her carry-on baggage, according to an incident report obtained by The Wrap.
Nugent, 51, was arrested after TSA screeners detected what appeared to be a firearm in her carry-on bag at an x-ray screening point.
Asked by an officer if there was anything in her bag that the officer should be aware of, Nugent— who was booked on a flight for Fort Lauderdale, Florida— replied, “I know what the problem is, I forgot the gun was in the bag.”
A subsequent search found a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson with five rounds in it, and an additional ten rounds were found in the soft case that was carrying the gun.
Nugent, who has a concealed handgun permit for Texas, told police that she had received death threats, and was carrying the gun for protection. She said that she carries the gun in the bag for safety while attending physical training classes.
Nugent told the officer that she knows it’s illegal to carry a weapon into a secure area of an airport. When asked if she had seen the signs posted in front of the checkpoint stating that firearms are prohibited, she said no.
Rico says what would you expect from Ted's wife...
