Getting old...

...ain't for sissies, as Rico's mother would say.

But sometimes, especially for Hollywood stars like Joan Crawford, it's not a pretty process. When young (as in Strange Cargo with Clark Gable), she was radiantly beautiful (photo, top). When older, however, she kept piling on the makeup, and became a caricature of herself (photo, bottom)...

Rico says he's aging as gracefully as he can, but knows it's a finite process...
