April Fools'

Josh Voorhees has a Slate article about Google on April Fools' Day:

Before you email your friends about Google Nose or make plans to leave a flower in Slate's Google Graveyard for YouTube, take a look at your calendar: Yep, it's April 1. OK, now that that's out of the way, feel free to enjoy the tech giant's latest April Fools' Day pranks. (The Next Web has a rundown of a few others the site's running today here.)
Both are good, but for my money neither lives up to the concept of Gmail Paper, which (though fake, alas) promised to send you printed copies of all your email.

Rico says people actually get paid to think these things up and create them...
