Boston Marathon bombing

Josh Voorhees has a Slate article about Boston:

A scary and uncertain story unfolded Monday afternoon in Boston, where twin explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon killed at least three people and injured a still-unknown number of others. The most recent estimates offered shortly before midnight put the number of injured at more than 140, at least seventeen of whom were in critical condition, according to The Associated Press.
At a press briefing Monday night, state and local authorities stressed that the situation remained fluid and that they did not have a suspect in custody. "I'm not prepared to say we are at ease," Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said after being asked whether police were positive that no undetonated explosives remain along the course. The next official briefing is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
The AP, citing unnamed intelligence officials, reported earlier in the day that police had found two other undetonated explosive devices, a report that has not been officially confirmed by local authorities.
"The American people will say a prayer for Boston tonight," President Obama said during an early evening White House briefing, during which he made it clear that it was too early to say who was behind the attack. "But make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this, and we will find out who did this, and we will find out why they did this. Any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice," he said.

Rico says we need to remember that the original guy who ran the Marathon died at the finish line...
