In February of 1945, the Big Three leaders, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin, met at Yalta to discuss the reorganization of post-war Europe. In an address to Congress on 1 March 1945, President Roosevelt reported the achievements of the gathering.
