What's the Empire coming to?

Rico says he ran across this at TV.com, with some disappointment:

The BBC's Sherlock will be delayed while its stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman frolic in the glow of celebrity. Originally due to air next summer, you can now expect the third season of the hit series to run in late 2013 in the UK and even later 2013 or maybe early 2014 in the United States. Cheerio, guv'nah!
