Making booms in Syria

Yumi Goto has a Time article about the latest in Syria:
According to Syrian state television, two bombs exploded in the capital of Damascus on 10 May, killing more than fifty people and injuring some 372 people. The blasts— the deadliest since the revolt against the rule of Bashar Assad began last year— occurred in the morning at a busy intersection, wrecking the state’s intelligence headquarters, destroying vehicles and killing pedestrians.
