Address book fatalities

Rico says there are some people in his address book whose name includes a † symbol. That's because they're dead. But some people, unfortunately including Rico's friends-since-we-were-ten, have a † next to their name because they are now dead to Rico (though the sumbitch was bitter and sarcastic to the end, as could have been expected), even if not in reality. (Hey, it comes to us all in the end, but not yet, in this case.) It's a sad thing, however...
