Rico says that would be whoever it was, on the airplane back from his recent trip to North Carolina, who deposited the virus that gave him a nasty case of conjunctivitis (acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, first detected in the Western Hemisphere in 1981, is an epidemic form of highly contagious conjunctivitis and is characterized by sudden onset of painful, swollen, red eyes, with conjunctival hemorrhaging and excessive tearing), with its attendent eye irritation, redness, swelling, and a trip tot he eye doctor. (No, it wasn't a cat allergy but, given that the doc is a young-Sarah-Palin-lookalike, Rico says that makes it worthwhile...)
