Clueless, as usual

Rico says the Republicans are choosing between two candidates, Karen Brown, a former Democratic committeewoman recruited by Republican leaders, and Center City realtor and nationally-known privacy expert John Featherman, to run for mayor of Philadelphia.
Given that the percentage of white residents is less than fifty percent, and that the last two mayors have been black, does anybody besides Rico see a problem here?

Philadelphia's racial breakdown:
45.0% White
43.2% African American
4.4% Asian
4.7% other races
2.2% Mixed Race
0.2% Native American
0.05% Pacific Islander
8.5% Hispanic or Latino
