Smaller world than we know

Rico says he turned on an obscure channel (recommended by the ladyfriend) and watched a segment of Paladin, starring Richard Boone, a show from his childhood. There's some history there, because, when Rico was young, he and his father got into scuba diving, and went to Hawai'i to do some (we're talking the late 60s here). While there, in Kailua, Kona, they ran into none other than Mr. Boone, down on the pier. No 'hey, let's have a drink', unfortunately, but it was nice to see his craggy face.
While looking up Boone's history, however, Rico has discovered that, when he left Hawai'i in 1970, Mr. Boone moved to none other than St. Augustine, Florida, where Rico spent some time in recent years. Boone died in 1981, so another meeting was impossible, but it's nice to know he and Rico had the same taste in locations... (Boone even had his ashes scattered in the Pacific off Hawai'i, a gesture which Rico hopes to emulate.)
