Rico says his father, not excitable (usually), did get excited about the anti-drilling propaganda being circulated about the proposed work in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (sounds bad, don't it?):
A new pipeline across Alaska isn't required, since the location for drilling in ANWR is about 160 miles from the North Slope pipeline at Prudhoe Bay, where it would be connected. Also, the wildlife loves the pipeline, since it is heated and provides a shelter during the worst times during the winter.
Well, the truth is so darn inconvenient - and it doesn't fir the narrative.
ReplyDeleteBut we'll be sure to add a requirement for bear proof insulation covers on the next pipeline.
