Rico says that, having seen Independence Day again with the ladyfriend, he's wondering wassup with Will Smith and aliens:

Not that he wasn't good in the movie (he's always good), nor that the aliens weren't, either (scary and ugly, yes, but that's what aliens are supposed to be in the movies), but he wasn't quite as good (nor were the aliens) as he was in Men in Black with the inestimal Tommy Lee Jones:
