Duck this


Rico says it took him several days to watch this slightly-less-than-three-hour movie, a piece at a time, but it has several of his favorite things: Ennico Morricone's theme music, Sergio Leone's famous slow-motion violence, and the actor James Coburn, who's a separated-at-birth-twin of Rico's long-time friend Tex:

Rico says he has quibbles, of course. Let's remember that the Mexican Revolution took place from 1910 to 1920. There were several firearms used in the film that were not contemporary, including the FN Browning automatic, introduced in 1935:
