The internet is shocked,
shocked, over a hundred dead in Iraq
this month, "the deadliest month for NATO troops in nine years of conflict". (Not to say that, even by Rico's standards, that's a good number, especially for the families of those hundred guys.)
But a little perspective, please:
On the first day of the invasion of Europe, 6 June 1944, the United States had five thousand casualties...
