There turns out to have been a famous meeting at the White House between Frederick Douglas and Abraham Lincoln, discussing the slavery question. Rico has volunteered to make a video of a local actor, James Roberts, doing his 'incredible' (according to James Worrell, who's seen it) one-man-theatre version of the event.
We'll be trying to convince the White House (hey, remember who is President, after all) to have him reprise the event in August of 2014, on the Sesquicentennial, in the very room in which it originally occurred.
Stay tuned for details; there's a new blog for it.
