Pirates

The NRA publication America's First Freedom has an article in the current issue titled Captain Courageous (not available on-line, sorry), about Captain James Staples, the captain of the 'pure car carrier' Green Bay (similar to the photo), who packs heat on-board to fend off Somali and other pirates. Unlike the crew of the Maersk Alabama, which was taken by pirates in Somali waters in 2009, Captain Staples has fired on pirates trying to take his ship; they left, empty handed.
All in all, not unlike Rico's novel about piracy (in the Caribbean), Skeleton Cay. Feel free to buy a copy here.
