Some good news, finally


Rico says al-Reuters does occasionally have good news:
Swedish company Solvatten has launched an affordable and user-friendly Solar Powered Water Purification system for developing countries. The Solvatten system is expected to sell for US$35 per unit and comes in a compact case, using solar energy to purify contaminated water. With user-friendly instructions, Solvatten is currently being used in a pilot program in Nepal through the UN and Environment and Public Health Organization.
Rico says this is a damned good use of technology...
