Not how you go about it

The Phoenix out of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania has the story of a really fucked-up local family:
An Upper Pottsgrove woman "threatened the lives of an entire community" when she allegedly aided her stepson in disposing of guns and ammunition that a Pottstown High School student intended to use to kill other students, prosecutors alleged. Julie Ann Macedo, 51, of the 100 block of Micklitz Drive, was charged with tampering with physical evidence, recklessly endangering other persons, making false reports to law enforcement, and conspiracy in connection with incidents that occurred between November and December of 2008.
Macedo, authorities alleged, drove her 15-year-old stepson to the Manatawny Creek in Riverfront Park in Pottstown in November and told the boy to dump the guns and ammunition in the creek after she learned the boy possessed the guns. The teenage boy, court documents alleged, was holding the bag of guns for his friend, Richard Yanis, 15, a Pottstown High School student who prosecutors say intended to use the guns to shoot students and then himself during a planned shooting spree at the school after the New Year holiday.
"She did not admit what she knew to police. She didn't just threaten the lives of children, she threatened the lives of an entire community, not only the students and staff in the Pottstown High School community but any member of the public who could be walking in the park and find those weapons," alleged Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, referring to Macedo. "There are so many places where she put people's lives in jeopardy. I can only imagine the horror we would be experiencing if a group of children had found the guns and ammunition and started playing with them," Ferman added.
In the 'stupid is as stupid does' category, Rico says some people are too stupid to live amongst us...
