It is good to be the princess

From an article in acknews.com, this about Wendy Schmidt, who married well, and is spending it well:
Wendy Schmidt and her husband Eric, CEO of Google, have been long-time summer residents of Nantucket. Schmidt first made headlines in October of 2007 by stepping in to buy the former Island Spirits property at 10 & 12 Washington Street... In January of 2008, Schmidt bought the Mitchell's Book Corner building to preserve the landmark business... This fall she brought in the Urban Land Institute to gain public input on ways to keep the downtown a viable business district.
Rico says it's nice to see someone with a lot of money (6.6 billion, according to Wikipedia) actually doing good things with it... (So next time you see an ad on Google, stop bitching; this is what it pays for.)
