Fifty years, and still waiting

Rico says the Cubans are celebrating, if that's the right word, fifty years of the Revolution. Fidel's still alive, so they have to, but he can't last forever. His brother, Raul, won't, either, so eventually the stupid embargo will be lifted (Obama might, after all, just to spite the right-wing), and Rico and his father will be able to go visit. That will be nice...
Go here to see photos of Cuba today, with all the perfectly preserved old cars from the Fifties. (Rico says if you have a lot of cash, you might be able to bring one home as a collector's item...)
