A little slow on the uptake

The Canadian Press has an article about justice in Russia:
Four suspects have been arrested in the nearly four-year-old killing of former Olympic cycling champion Dmitry Nelyubin, the Russian prosecutor-general's office said Monday.
Nelyubin was a member of the four-man Soviet team that won the 4,000-metre pursuit at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. He was stabbed to death before dawn on New Year's Day 2005 on a St. Petersburg street, where he and friends were setting off fireworks. The stabbing occurred when the revellers got into an argument with several other men.
The Investigative Committee of the Prosecutor-General's office said in a statement Monday that four suspects have been arrested and the case is now considered closed. The suspects were identified as natives of the Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, but the prosecutors did not give further details.
Rico says he's never even heard of Kabardino-Balkaria, nor could he find it on a map, but they're sure as hell not ethnic Russians, which makes the Russians happy...
