Spreading the wealth

Best Buy Co.'s win of Apple Inc.'s iPhone 3G is a blow to RadioShack Corp. investors hoping that RadioShack might have first crack at selling the popular mobile phone outside Apple's and carrier AT&T Corp.'s stores. But at least one analyst said RadioShack may still get it. "This doesn't necessarily mean that Best Buy is the only non-AT&T reseller of the iPhone forever," said Sanford Bernstein analyst Colin McGranahan. "They said nothing about exclusively or how long. Maybe Apple decides Best Buy gets it this Christmas and RadioShack gets it in January; we have no idea."
